UK Food Bloggers Association

I'll be back in the UK in a week or so, after more than two years cooking in Spain. Although I haven't been able to participate in any UKFBA activities, I've been reading about plenty of UK food blogging events while I've been away. If there's anything exciting happening during December, would someone please invite me. Thanks.

Hi

Welcome back.
If you have a look at Hardens website, there is a link for free tickets to the Taste Festival in London in December, which is a really good event.

Cheers

Welcome back! There's meant to be a Bisol prosecco food matching competition cook-off between 5 or so finalists but not sure about the date yet - might only happen in the new year. Speak to Niamh...

Wow, has it really been two years Trig? It will be great to see you back.

Thanks guys. I'll check out Taste and some other events in the UKFBA calendar. Yes - it really has been two years. I have difficulty speaking English these days and I dream and generally think in Spanish! I'll be in London all December (except for a few visits to friends and family) so I hope I can meet up with old friends while I'm there. After that it's back to Spain for a while... then who knows where. P.S. I'll get my baby photo updated while I'm in London.

Nothing exciting here; welcome back to England!

Visited Taste of Christmas at Excel. A bit disappointed that it wasn't as big as the shows I remember at Olympia. And most of the celebrity chefs seemed to be the ones whose businesses had trouble in the recession and were there because they needed the fees. But it was a good afternoon out and I saw a few familiar faces.

Welcome back Aidan! Gutted i missed the show due to ilness... But perhaps not so gutted after your feedback! What are you doing now you are back home?

Thanks Sabrina. What I'm doing right now is being ill after eating a kebab. What possessed me to behave as if I was still in Spain, where you can see food, eat it and live? In the longer term I'm sorting out a job in Spain for the New Year and enjoying Christmas with friends and family.

Ahhh, so Espana is beckoning you back, eh??? And who would blame you!!! Well look forward to reading more about your UK based exploits whilst you are still here!!! Hope you feel better. Fizzy water or lemonade and a honking great swig of Pepto Bismol ought to do the trick! xxx
