Has anyone signed up for this? - good luck to you if you have.

I sent for the details and then, frankly got a bit put off by the thought of Michael Winner and a camera crew coming round my house. Well, that and looking like a complete buffoon on telly.

Couldn't think of anything worse than meeting (eating with ! ) Michael Winner. All you need to do is watch 'Come Dine With Me' to see how easy it is to look like a buffoon - couple of glasses of wine for Dutch courage and a life time of regrets.

I was tempted but think would probably panic, drink too much and make an idiot of myself. Don't think I would like people seeing our dodgily decorated rented flat either!

I think home cooking needs to be celebrated a lot more than it is in tv cookery shows. Most people do not eat gourmet food in their own homes. I really think that having so much of the food on tv be 'snooty' scares people that don't cook into never giving it a try. So, the last thing I would want a home cook to do is have a restaurant critic get snooty about home cooked food. Much like that Eating With An Enemy show that ran last year..who cares what Kate Spicer types think of what you cook for your family?
