UK Food Bloggers Association

I've just joined the bandwagon and set up a facebook page for my website www.jamandclottedcream.co.uk

Here is my facebook link http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jam-and-Clotted-Cream/298657341316

How many other bloggeers have set up facebook pages? Why not use this thread to share your facebook page profiles.

Do you see an increase in traffic to your website through using facebook?? Any thoughts on using facebook to promote your blogs/websites would be appreicated - or do you think Twitter is better?

As my blog has just passed it's first anniversary it seems like a good time to start up a Facebook page, so here's mine..

The most basic of tips, I know, but don't be afraid to invite all your actual real friends on Facebook to be a friend. This isn't spamming them with news about your farm game..this is you showing them something you work hard on and is part of your life.

There are some real friends on my fans list but I must admit it did feel a bit weird inviting them! I only invited ones I know who are foodies though! Did laugh about 'farm 'game', reminds me a brief affair with Cafe world that ended in tears ;-)

Well.. that kept me busy, going into Facebook and looking at all your pages and adding you all!

....because I am not very good at this and it was all a bit new to me, I couldn't work out how to do a fan page, so I set up a FB account for Omnivorous Bear... (be my friend if you want to!)

and then, after a while, I managed to work out how to set up a fan page
