Maple Cupcakes

I got the recipe for these cupcakes over at Ricki's blog - Diet Dessert & Dogs. They sounded so delicious that I scribbled the recipe down immediately.

Heilan Coos and a' that!

I went on a such a good walk on Sunday.

We had glorious weather and beautiful surroundings. We went to Glen Lednock near Comrie for our walk and it was great!

Before the Highland clearances in the 18th century Glen Lednock had 21 different settlements (clans) comprising over 350 structures and 25 corn-drying kilns. There is not much left to show for it, but there is still a lot to see - the Shaky Bridge, Deil's Cauldron, the Wee Cauldron, Melville's Monument and a Hobbit Hole, oh and the coos!… Continue

Hello!!

I am an Assistant Producer at ITV Productions and we are currently searching for potential contestants for Britain’s Best Dish. In case you haven’t seen the show before Britain's Best Dish is an annual competition hosted by ITV for amateur cooks. In it we look for Britain's best starter, main course and dessert. The winner of the competition receives the accolade of Britain's Best Dish and takes home a £10,000 cash prize.

We're starting another series in the coming weeks and will be holding our regional auditions in May. Since you are a keen foodie you are just the sort of person we are looking for and I wondered if it might be something you may like to get involved with?

If you are at all interested in taking part or know anyone who may be interested, please email me at charlotte.martell@itv.com and I can give you some more details!Delete Comment

The £35 didnt go very far! got 2 lots of cheese, 1 bottle of wine, some salami, honey, 2 minatures italian brandy which is potent but good stuff and some lovely little italian amaretti style biscuits, which lasted about 5 minutes!!

I did get a free apron and several cotton shopping bags though so not too bad! :)

Hi Holler
Just been looking at your photos - really love them - what camera do you use? I'm finding I can't get quite close enough with my little point and shoot digital. Top tips appreciated.
Thx
Linda

Hiya, have posted up short review of show now, was a good day out, the wine samples were very generous, think 1/2 glasses at some stalls, both of us were giggling by about 12.30! Tried lots of different foods (some good, some not so good!) Overall managed to spend about £35 on about 5 items! :)
